Snack the System took place at the Agriturismo I Casali del Pino and attracted about 700 visitors from the diplomatic community and the general public. The vision of a future of society from the perspective of food – the Bites of Transfoodmation Manifesto – was presented in a parcours with over 30 innovative exhibitors. The goal of the exhibition was to show through future-oriented projects that change towards more sustainability is possible and already happening.
The engaging discussions focused on the use of digitalization to renew traditions and empower cultures; the power of narratives to shape our habits; the true cost and true value approach, as well as actions of institutions and the integration of youth in the multilateral system.
